Ectopic pregnancy and the rupture of corpus hemorrhagicum are fatal gynecological emergencies that comprise an important part of the causes of referring to the emergency services. 26 year old-gravida 1, para 1 woman was referred to our clinic with lower quadrant abdominal pain. In her medical history there were no delayed menstruation and the pregnancy test which practiced in an outside clinic, was reported as negative. According to the acute abdomen signs in the medical examination, emergency laparatomy has been performed. There was a mass that pretends to be ruptured hemorrhagic cyst prediagnostically was observed and excised. Pathology results of the patient, whose ßhCG value was measured post operatively as 2090mIU/mL, was compatible with ovarian ectopic pregnancy. The case of ovarian ectopic pregnancy, which is a rare situation and can be interfering with the rupture of corpus hemorrhagicum cyst, is presented with a brief literature review.
