An adult patient with patent omphalomesenteric duct who presented with fecal umbilical discharge was excised with median incision. The omphalomesenteric duct was followed up to the junction with the small intestine and resection of this segment with the duct was performed. There were no postoperative complications. In the presence of feculent, bilious, seropurulent, or serous discharge at the umbilicus, omphalomesenteric duct or an intestinal umbilical fistula must be remembered in the differential diagnosis.
