Small bowel inflammatory fibroid polyp with suspicion of malignancy: case report

Inflammatory fibroid polyps (Vanek’s tumor) is a rare benign polypoid lesions of the gastrointestinal tract. Although often localized in the stomach, can be seen in anywhere along the gastrointestinal tract. Clinical findings and treatment options ar vary depending on the size and localization of these lesions. Two patients with ages of 60 and 53 were admitted to the emergency department with complaint of abdominal pain, and they were treated by surgery with the diagnosis of small bowel mass.
