Synovial chondromatosis, is the chondroid metaplasia of the synovial membrane. Most commonly involved joints are large joints such as the knee and hip are. Its main characteristic is the formation of cartilaginous nodules in the synovium and inside the articular space (loose bodies). Extraarticular Synovial chondromatosis localized to a tenosynovial sheath or bursa is seldom encountered. It usually presents between the third and fifth decades. Our case is a synovial chondromatosis of the subcoracoid bursa caused by frequent shotgun use and shoulder impingement syndrome as result of this lesion.
