ABSTRACT
A 35-year-old woman was diagnosed as Castleman’s disease after the histological examination of a neck mass revealed angiofollicular lymphoid hyperplasia (hyalen vascular type). She had had this mass on the right side of her neck which first appeared 6 years previously. It had not responded to any antibiotherapy. It had begun to enlarge in the last 2 years and had reached 5-6 cm in diameter in the last 2 months. Because the disease has a benign characteristic we extracted the lymph node and planned to follow up the patient with no further treatment.
