ABSTRACT

Although rarely seen, insulinomas are the most common neuroendocrine tumors of the pancreas with a high risk of life threatening complications due to hormonal effects and an increased incidence of malignancy. Early diagnosis is important since complete cure can be achieved by sufficient surgical therapy. In this study a case of insulinoma treated successfully in our clinic is presented.
