ABSTRACT

Neuronal Intestinal Dysplasia (NID) is a clinical condition resembling Hirschprung disease. NID was first described by Meier-Ruge in 1971 as a disease which has an unknown etiology of malformation of the enteric plexus. There is not a consensus about its incidence. It has two subtypes. The aim of this review is to present a case referred to our clinic who had severe neuronal intestinal dysplasia, required multiple operation due to intestinal obstruction.
