ABSTRACT
Neuroendocrine cells are plentiful in the prostate and are diffusely distributed throughout the organ at birth. The patient’s laboratory examination revealed a PSA serum level values 4 ng/ml. Then, transrectal ultrasound-guided 10-core biyopsy of prostate was performed revealing prostate adenecarcinoma with gleason score 5+3 and peri-neural invasion. The patient applied to our policlinic and underwent laboratory examination with a PSA serum level values 0.45 ng/ml. Then the microscope slides of prostate of this patient were consulted in another pathology laboratory and reported as small cell neuro-endocrine carsinoma.
