ABSTRACT
In this paper, we reported a case of an 42-year-old man admitted to emergency department with nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting, and in whom we detected a taenia saginata expelled through the mouth during follow-up. In this case report, we aimed to emphasize that parasitic diseases should be considered in the differential diagnosis of patients often presenting to the emergency room with nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain complaints.
